When Nativo General Contracting was founded in 1966, they began making a name for themselves in the not-for-profit industry.  Since then, they have established a legacy of integrity, reliability and a cost efficiency that remains the cornerstone of Nativo General Contracting more than thirty years later.

In more than thirty years of operation, Nativo General Contracting has grown steadily by adhering to its tradition of providing clients with a high standard of service and superior finished base building upgrades and new core-and-shell projects.

Nativo General Contracting earned its reputation serving the needs of the Federal, State and City not-for-profit institutional community.  Nativo General Contracting has completed more than 600,000 square feet of construction for some of New York’s pre-eminent not-for-profit institutions.

Company Resources

Nativo General Contracting’s staff includes estimators, seasoned project managers, superintendents, field supervisors and quality control professionals.  The company’s operation is comprised of four primary functions: estimating and purchasing, project management, field operations, and quality control.  A senior level Project Executive heads every project.  Project teams are selected based on experience: type of construction, experience with a particular client or type of environment, and experience working with other members of the team.  The company’s staff is made up of planners, problem-solvers, and communicators, working with the team as a whole to complete the project to everyone’s satisfaction.
